We've made the process even easier!
As part of the new teacher account sign up process, it's now required to purchase 1-year accounts for students, so they can use LearnToMod whether or not they're 'enrolled' in the teacher's class. (read more about this: costs involved, exceptions for legacy teacher accounts)
This will ensure that students will have 24 hour access to our private Minecraft servers. (However, they still will need paid Java Minecraft accounts from minecraft.net)
A LearnToMod User's Data (Badge Progress) is Tied to Their LearnToMod Login Email
Students should set up their LearnToMod account on https://mod.learntomod.com with 1. a unique login email that can be confirmed and 2. should enter a paid access key during the account creation process 3. After the class is over, teachers should unenroll them from the class

To add more time to a LearnToMod account
After the year ends, and if students want to continue using their LearnToMod account, they can buy a recurring 1-year subscription from www.learntomod.com -- they'll then be emailed a paid access key. Then the next time they login to their LearnToMod account like usual, they'll enter the new paid access key when prompted to.
