////NOTE: If you're a teacher or organization that has signed up with us for a teacher account in the past, don't worry! We'll continue to offer LearnToMod free to you, the members of your organization and your students. If you need more class seats, just email us at contact@learntomod.com as usual.////

LearnToMod is an in-browser software that teaches coding fundamentals by way of Minecraft modding. The teacher edition gives your students complete access to all available LearnToMod tutorials, videos and puzzles, as well as the Minecraft simulator to test out their mods; it also comes with access to our Minecraft private servers, so that students can test their mods in the real Minecraft. To take advantage of our Minecraft servers, each student will need access to a compatible Minecraft account from minecraft.net

The teacher account also comes with classroom monitoring tools, so teachers can view their students' # of badges completed and any mod code they've written.

We're happy to provide a free LearnToMod account for testing purposes.

Here's how to get set up with a teacher account (the process will be done through email):

1. E-mail us and we'll send you some introductory info and a few questions; we'll need to know about your max estimated class size, how many classes you'll be holding simultaneously, how many hours a day your class runs, and your name and your organization's address.

2. Reply back with the answers to those questions, then we'll give you a regular LearnToMod account that you can test in your classroom. This account will be free.

3. When you've signed up and tested the software to your satisfaction, let us know how many students you're expecting and we'll then send you an electronic invoice.

4. After payment, we'll send you the access keys, and all the information you need to get started using LearnToMod in your classroom.

5. Your students will be able to sign up and create their own LearnToMod accounts, using the access keys, and you'll be able to monitor their progress through the teacher account.

Because of the paid access keys, students will get 24 hours of access to our minecraft servers and can continue to use their 1-year LearnToMod account when they're removed from the class. They can always add more time to their account by buying a recurring 1-yr subscription from www.learntomod.com

How many LearnToMod And / Or Minecraft Accounts Do I Need To Buy?

Each student will need their own LearnToMod account ($29.99 usd retail) and access to a Minecraft account ($26.95 usd retail). LearnToMod accounts can be purchased in bulk, by email, at discounted rates. Every 10th access key is free! However, there aren't any discounts for bulk buying Minecraft accounts.

If your students are in a physical classroom, there should be 1 unique paid Java Minecraft account on each computer in your classroom. Or if your students have their own compatible Minecraft accounts, they can easily link their personal accounts with our software.

It's highly recommended to use LearnToMod with Minecraft.

Coming Up With Login Emails for Students

It's best to let students use their own or their parents' emails, when creating their LearnToMod accounts, but if you need help coming up with dummy emails for them, let us know.
